Tokyo Bike Storage is an Elaborate Underground Warehouse

Japan is a country where much of the population commutes and travels on bicycles. This results in a significant number of bikes left on the street and cities that are left to handle the storage infrastructure. Tokyo’s solution to their growing bike storage problem was not to build more bike racks, but rather to build an underground bike storage network. The entire storage system functions autonomously and securely stores your 2-wheeled transportation underground. You can see how it works in the video below.
