The US Navy’s Trimaran Littoral Combat Ship

The US Navy’s most recently launched ships fall to the Littoral Combat Class, or LCS. These coastal defense¬†ships are designed to be fast and nimble in the water while operating with as few sailors as possible. While these ships have quite the hefty price tag and are somewhat prone to breaking, their engineering prowess stands above all other naval vessels.
