The Engineering Behind Fracking Explained

Fracking has been a controversial engineering process, but despite some perceived negative effects, it has allowed us to collect large supplies of natural gas and oil. The process as a whole has been accused of polluting ground water and causing earthquakes, but determining whether the fracking process was the root cause of these problems isn’t easy given the complexity of the operation.
