Every year, hundreds of companies announce their latest and greatest changes and updated technology together on April 1st. It has globally become known as the day the world moves forward. This year was no exception and every major brand, from Google to Petco, announced daring new strides for engineering and technology. Here are just a few of the exciting announcements from around the world.

The Google smart knome was likely engineered right out of necessity. Now you can always be connected while you are outside gardening or just taking a swim in your pool. I am excited to get my hands on this.
Zappos’ Invention of Invisibility
For years, scientists have tried to perfect invisibility. Little did the rest of the engineering world know, but all the research needed was a shipping company to get behind the project and the world now has invisibility. What a time to be alive.

This jet is so amazing, it’s a miracle that it even flies. As someone who just got back from overseas and had to deal with a 14-hour plane ride, I sure wish I was on this plane for the boring flight.
New Amazon Echo for Pets
Amazon has been pushing the cutting edge of home AI technology ever since their release of the Amazon Echo. With a new update, Alexa, the friendly AI assistant, can now communicate with all of your pets. This is a breakthrough in not only AI but also animal communication.
Petco is Getting into the Drone Industry
Drones are getting a new use. These 21st-century technological marvels are not only good for hauling your Amazon packages, they’re also good for hauling your pet’s “packages.” Engineering at its finest.
Which of these technological advancements are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments below.
Note: If the tone wasn’t clear enough in this article, all of these advancements are April Fool’s Day jokes. Unfortunately, we will have to wait just a little longer for AI that can communicate with our pets.
