Expedition Under the Antarctic Reveals Abundant Life

The sea floor underneath the Antarctic is perhaps one of the last unexplored frontiers. We now have the technology to reach to the deepest depths of the oceans, and that has led one team of researchers to locations never before seen by human eyes.

In this epic video, a team of researchers became the first to descend to 1000 meters underwater in Antarctica. What they found was a seafloor teaming with life.
