A Look at NASA’s Drifting Modular Robotic Vehicle

NASA research has been behind some of the most impactful innovations in the last century and now they seem to be innovating the world of drifting. As part of their ongoing engineering research into the future of extraterrestrial transportation, the NASA Johnson Space Center designed this modular vehicle that allows each wheel to be controlled individually.

This design makes the small modular vehicle perfect for Martian terrain and allows impeccable control – but it also makes it perfect for drifting. In a video showing off the capabilities of the vehicle from NASA themselves, they prove that they can now be crowned the drifting kings. As a side note, this might be the most expensive vehicle ever drifted before.
